Nyansapo (West Africa)
Nyansapo (West Africa) means ‘wisdom knot’ and is an adinkra (Akan symbol) for representing the concepts of wisdom, intelligence, ingenuity, and patience.
As an especially revered symbol among the Akan, it is often employed to convey the belief that if a person is wise, then they have the capacity in them to choose the best means of attaining their goal.
The word ‘wise’ in the idea is used in a very specific context, meant to imply “broad knowledge, learning and experience, and the ability to apply such faculties to practical ends.”

His international experience over the last 20 years reaches out to 29 countries, in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and South America lecturing at MBA level on topics like Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Change Management, Leadership, Human Resource Management, Strategy, Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Khaled Wahba is the Academic Dean at Maastricht School of Management in Kuwait. He was an associate professor at Systems & Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt (Currently on Sabbatical). Moreover, Khaled is an adjunct faculty (visiting professor) at a number of universities, business and technical schools located in various countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Romania, Peru, Suriname, Kuwait, Egypt, and Vietnam. With more than 25 years of teaching experience in the academic field, Khaled has dedicated his career as a freelance professional trainer and instructor with a focus on Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Decision Making, Quantitative Research Methods, Digital Transformation, Creative Thinking, Systems Thinking and System Dynamics. Individuals trained represent different sectors such as Petroleum, Cement, Pharmaceutical, Banking, Telecom, E-Business and ICT.
Khaled received his PhD from Aachen University of Technology in Germany, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In addition to over 100 academic and business publications, Khaled co-authored a book in 2007 with Professors S. Jones and B. van der Heijden titled “How to Write Your MBA Thesis”. Khaled also co-authored various chapters in books in the field of knowledge management. Furthermore, he supervised over 500 theses and dissertations in business administrations fields and biomedical engineering.
Beside his interest in training, teaching, supervision and research, for over 6 years Khaled served as the Director and Academic Advisor of a regional education and training institution (RITI), located in Egypt. Moreover, Khaled served as the CEO of an IT startup company operating in Egypt and the UAE for 4 years.
Khaled is frequently invited to give talks and presentations in his field of interest. He was also an active member and board member of various international societies, conferences and academic journals. Khaled currently resides in Canada.
